It is time for the MIO GO team to hire an experienced software team:
- No other iPhone app, that I have, experiences any of the failure modes the MIO GO app experiences
- It took me over 40 minutes of repeated attempts before the software stayed open long enough for me to start a recording. Only app this occurs.
- I often have to do a number of soft and hard reboots to get the software to stay open. Only app that I have to reboot.
- Whenever this Alpha 2 Syncs on its own with the MIO GO App, syncing takes a very long time. Today its been syncing well over 1 hour. Based on past observations, it will keep syncing until sometime during the night. I have no control over it.
- It drops the recording and all information is lost.
- The failed firmware update on the last revision left the Alpha2 disabled. When the firmware update was fixed, it took multiple attempts to update the Alpha2 to enable the Alpha2 to work again.
-- After successfully updating the Firmware to Version 1.05, I was able to use the Alpha 2 and connect with the MIO GO App. Afterwards when I needed to re-install the app, it would not connect with the MIO GO watch so I checked for software/Firmware updates. The MOI GO update indicated the Firmware Version was 1.0 and needed to upgrade to 1.05. Now after 7 days of attempting to update the Firmware, I love write this review because the Alpha 2 is still not functional. It is useless.
- The screen freezes up and does not react to touch commands
Your software group needs to be replaced with a competent software group. They have utterly failed on each release of the software. They do not understand basic software engineering practices.
