Prior to using the Mio GO software, I hadn’t read a review - I unbiasedly tried to use my Mio Fuse and I failed. I do know a bit about software development and quality control. I also know that Apple has set very high standards for their App Store. Somehow Mio slipped in a piece of software that will never work as intended. Their product, however good or bad it may be, is completely eclipsed by their App developers. I honestly have never used a piece of software that is so clearly written by amateurs and/or hobbyists. I know that you can make a very pretty interface very quickly and easily using the developer’s toolkit. Unfortunately, it seems that Mio did nothing else - this program is literally a shell with a few early attempts at functions thrown in but not tested. I cannot believe they didn’t run across random crashes, hangs, missing screens, sync failures, random loss of data, etc. etc. during their ‘quality’ tests. They released their software because of some internal deadline rather than a commitment to their customers, and a company philosophy like that will never produce a quality product. Avoid like the plague and go back to FitBit. They are orders of magnitude more reliable and useful. There is literally no way this software will work as intended. I tried and failed. Look elsewhere.
