Mio app is very limited

The Mio Go app I downloaded on my iPhone 5 and iPad2 air is nothing like the description. It only sets it up with no tracking features of any sort. Am I missing something? I’m considering returning my Mio Link if I can’t find a proper app like the one Mio advertises.
